Happy?

Great illustration…
Only that the usual fake masks of happiness people wear cost a LOT more than 4 euros.
People realize at last that they are covering up their unhappiness with expensive substitutes; you know, the always updated cars and phones and ski gear, vacations of running away or exploring, new fashion in fashion, movies, games and tv, and they think, «Hell with it, I know, they know. All I needed was a smiley mask anyway.»

At 4 Euros, and reusable… a bargain!

I guess maybe thats why these happy face masks sold out…
Well thats great because those left with their very own sad faces have to face the storm and survive it. And they can.

The guy in the front sems to have gotten a defect happy face… doubly sad for him i guess… but maybe also a good point… Maybe its reflecting how he feels under the surface of the mask.

But unlike depicted in this illustration people will never run out of their cheap way to the mask of happiness… that IS the problem… i wish we did run out and we had to deal with it… but there is money to be made folks and somebody a long time ago has figured out the weakness of homo sapiens. Well I dont think it was done on purpose… has a lot to do with our animal instincts; you know looking good, attracting a mate…

Imagine if bad pop reporting, television, food and computer games were banned tomorrow… and if everything around us just made us look inside to face our problems and learn to find ourselves and be happy for real.
WOW!!! Now THAT be a world id be willing to bring babies to…

This whole website is dedicated to the search of ultimate human happiness.
The maximum possible in our state of evolution that is… I am approaching this idea form many angles and trying to build a study… Its far from perfectly structured yet… Please bear with me…

Your comments and responses are greatly appreciated and needed.

Great illustration and good thinking.
We have been fed the opiate of peace. We have been lulled to sleep, thinking there is no enemies anymore – someone else will look after the store while we go about doing all the silly superficial things we do. In nature, animals don't just give up – they fight. Humans on the other hand have lost that survival instinct. We will be ok, at least until the next Hitler comes around and starts directing the sheep to the slaughterhouse…

Even the dumbest human will try to run or fight if cornered, they have not lost the survival instinct. But just like a group of sheep who, when under no immediate threat, dont conspire and go get the guard dogs and the farmer in their sleep humans do not plan a counter strike when under no immediate threat. Obviously the few do, by organizing underground rebellion groups and using the internet to recruit people to join…
I disagree with you that its the way to do it… being aware of the problem is good.. being angry about it is good, but in my opinion the history has shown us with a few exceptions that the small groups of idealist dont really win over the big bad wolf because they do not really know how to effectively organize and get enough supporters. Because they are angry and because they are motivated by desperation into quick action with huge ideals of taking down the big bad wolf who they believe they recognize…

Again in my opinion the big bad wolf is in each of us, un-mastered by us… because we are too lazy to learn about ourselves. Its reach and affect is greater, the longer it has developed through years of succession to power and its therefore natural for those who have that power to use it to further their personal benefit… think about it… we do it to in the smallest of scales… it IS the same thing happening.

So i dont think being angry and pointing fingers or being militant would change anything substantially. We must educate, change and adopt our human nature to a better understanding of ourselves…. then the coming generations will be gradually more and more aware and they will be more successful than us at achieving a peaceful life on earth.

Dont choose the easy path of being angry… fight like a Buddhist monk rather than an angry guerilla. First we must learn to use our brain, then the correct weapons will present themselves.. right now we are dumb, if that dont change, nothing will…

Peace, Love and understanding ; )
